This has already been asked in the forum a couple of times so I would recommend you search 'CMS' to see previous responses. Ultimately, a good approach is to use the Q to demonstrate your knowledge of the firm. Talk about any area of the firm that you can link to your own skills and experience...
That's so weird, they said they weren't at the Target Jobs and Legal Cheek law fairs as well as the GROW insight day. Maybe its a semi rolling process like CMS where they will review all apps submitted but progress people before the deadline. I'm not a fan of the inconsistency :/
No, I only submitted my app like 2 days ago and they're meant to be non-rolling, but posts on this forum seem to suggest otherwise so who knows what's going on on their end🤔
It was a VI last year but they have now changed it to a short telephone interview (10-15 minutes) that assesses your motivation and alignment to the firm’s values :)
TW aren’t actually rolling in the standard sense. If you haven’t heard back yet post test that means you passed but you won’t hear back re progression to written assessment until after the deadline :)
Sorry to hear this :( Did you check if the firm has a policy to reject candidates that made it to AC or the Internship in a recent cycle? I wouldn't take it heart and wish you the best of luck in your other applications!
Please can someone confirm Mischon's new application process as 1) online application + AI video interview, 2) situational judgement test, 3) AC, 4) vac scheme. Their website is so confusing :(
For the question 'what is your biggest achievement', if I had a standard answer across all applications last year that was successful in passing the written application stage and it remains my biggest achievement to date, can I reuse the answer?
Seems so, but I can imagine it coming up somewhere else in the recruitment process - maybe AC? Also seems they have removed the personal statement for standard questions and they now recruit on a rolling basis. Lots of changes this year
Hi! Does anyone have any advice / resources for building legal research skills prior to a vacation scheme? As well as any other preparation tips? Thank you!
Has anyone had to reschedule an assessment centre and if so how did you go about it? Something important has come up on the same day I have an AC scheduled in February and it would be just as detrimental to miss it :(
