Travers will definitely interview at least 100 people (and likely more) for their summer schemes - I really doubt they sent out all interviews today since they don't run big assessment centres so that would give people huge leadup times compared to others. Don't lose hope yet!!- CA98

nah I have a friend who got 5 below averages last year and still got a telephone interview. They review your application in conjunction with your test results so I'm certain you still have a pretty decent shot at an interview if you've done a good one.- CA98

I applied the day before the deadline and got invited to do the Watson Glaser yesterday, afaik though they tend to reply on an individual basis and don't really do batches like some firm's so it's probably just they haven't got round to looking at you yet.- CA98

I don't think that means anything particularly! I was told they wouldn't review direct tc applications till they finished reviewing vac scheme applications & since people are still hearing back on those it seems like they haven't got round to us yet.- CA98

Hi, my friend got an AC invite for the 26th Jan from Hogan Lovells on Thursday last week - I applied for a direct TC and haven't heard though but the deadline for that isn't until the end of the month. Hope this helps!- CA98

no that seems familiar! I must be getting confused with all the other firms ahaha. Still, I don't think it is worth speculating on things like whether they're assessing candidates in reverse order of application - you only see a very small sample size on this forum at the end of the day.- CA98

They're probably waiting till after applications close on the 17th so don't lose hope! They only run one vacation scheme so they wouldn't want to do too many interviews (if any at all) before they knew how many applications they had and the general quality of them.- CA98
