Mishcon AC for Cambridge Office (finally). Had given up this cycle with this being the literal last firm not to PFO me. Any advice would be much appreciated I'm kinda terrified 🤣
Hi again, sorry for the late reply I've just seen this. It is definitely a good decision to not pursue a law degree in Europe if you want to work in the UK straight after graduation in the legal industry. However, my main issue with doing the online degree at ULaw is not even that it is that you...
First of, I think it's great that you are trying to break into this tough career. However, I do think that there are a few things to consider. The university brand name does matter, despite what people say being from a target uni (which tend to have in-person LLBs) do represent a large...
So awkward got a PFO from OC and my mate texts me saying they got the virtual AC💀. Got to that stage last year with a much worse app, think might have to just do a masters at this point.
Edit: also we both applied around the deadline
Cambridge Scheme (which is in Spring). Not sure what's going on with the recruitment process for that, not sure if it is on a different timescale or otherwise but without the SJT I'm assuming PFO💔
Have you instructed chat gpt to use its search function, it is a lot more accurate when you instruct it to only take information from the web. If you just ask it to say info without doing a search then it'll literally make stuff up.
Hi everyone, I just wanted some advice on my Osborne Clarke application. Im applying for the Bristol office. I wanted to talk about the firm's tier 1 AI practice but have realised that this is in London, would it be best to focus on work that the Bristol office does specifically when talking...
if it's like last year then no you do not need to. i applied 5 minutes before the deadline last year and did the test a week later and still got to the next stage.
Hi does anyone know if RPC's online assessment has a VI element. They state that they test your motivations so I don't see how they do that apart from a VI unless they mean the traditional SJT motivations like testing whether you like tackling unfamiliar tasks.
Does anyone have any advice on this question for RPC: In what ways do you see yourself as ‘strikingly real’, and how does that connect with your motivation to apply here and your confidence in succeeding? (300 words max) *
I have to say, a rather unconventional question ...
No timing really, I think most took ages to complete it (including me). Honestly wouldn't stress it too bad it's like a fancy application form if anything.
Its a motivational VI at the end and its only one (also unfortunately one minute to think one minute to answer). As for the rest they kind of have set questions which they lead with and then the personalisation comes from the follow up questions the AI asks you based off what you said. Im pretty...
Yes of course, but its a shame because you really cant put the full context of most of these experiences in. Regardless at least not much left for me to do and I can submit before the deadline!
Hey sorry but did you also not have a work experience section for the TLT application. Im just a bit surprised since this is the only stage before AC and they seem to be relying only on application questions and grades with no work experience
