I think it's been said before that last year no one heard back til June so I'm not really expecting anything - think that person yesterday may have been asking following VS? Not 100% sure though
Hi everyone, what's the consensus on asking slightly controversial questions in interviews/at insight days/ACs? If the firm has some consistent issues being pointed out in reviews on glassdoor etc., is it really bad to ask? I.e. reviews say they don't care about employees enough, pay is below...
Sorry if this is a late reply given I'm pretty sure the deadline is today but they do ask all of this, it's a separate form you have to do only once you have submitted through the portal. So don't leave it too late is my advice!!
Thank you so much for the detailed response, and thank you @Ram Sabaratnam for your earlier response too. Both helpful in stopping me from essentially overthinking this! For reference, it's PMC (DTC). Thanks again, I will be applying these pointers for sure :)
Hi, does anyone have any advice for how to stand out in a cover letter (this is for a DTC app)? I've never had to do one for a law firm before. They've given a few pointers i.e. why this firm/office/why a career in law, but I'm struggling with sounding quite generic (I feel!)
I have got some uni grades back today - what is the done thing in terms of updating applications? I am still waiting on updates for some and wondering if it's useful to let grad rec know?
Got rejected following test this morning so not going to give any advice on how - as to what, it's quite a bizarre test, clicking buttons based on instinctive answers about your working style / firm culture etc.
