Received a Friday at 17:30 rejection from Skadden post AC interview and written exercise :( It hurts a lot as I genuinely thought this was my firm. I'm still waiting on Gibson Dunn and V&E post application but I am not super hopeful. Hence this might be the end for me during this application...- Mirela Mihova

I saw the other responses afterwards yes! I have no idea in this case, I had met the firm (both graduate recruiters actually) and I thought my application was good - maybe they want a specific combination of strengths? I can only guess :D- Mirela Mihova

I did the tests for Mayer Brown earlier this month, got average results for all VRT components except for one. For the SJT my top three strengths were work ethic, attention to detail and collaboration - I got a rejection a few days after :( Hence why I do think that they look for above average...- Mirela Mihova

Rejection from Shearman but Skadden made a huge gesture by making me do a video conference interview instead and a timed written exercise by email. This is my first interview with a partner/associate ever and my first written exercise so any tips would be much appreciated! :)- Mirela Mihova

I asked whether I can have it at a later time but they told me they are holding ACs between 10th-13th Feb only :( I want to ask if they could move me to a direct TC application but I don't think the chances are high, they have a separate AC application closing in summer ...- Mirela Mihova
