the general idea is, in the China market, only Chinese law firms are able to advise on certain matters due to regulations. But Linklaters, by forming an alliance with ZhaoSheng (a Chinese law firms), has therefore bypassed that limitation and secured a so-called Chinese law capability.- Qy_

Vac Scheme with no work experience?
I don't think that's a problem, so long as you can articulate "why law" "why that firm", and show the work you have done to pursue this career (i.e. the regional firm work experience you've had). Also, regarding uni, I would say don't worry. I've seen plenty of RG uni students getting into top...- Qy_
