If that is any comfort, on my vacation scheme with Hogan Lovells, most students, myself included, were not even reading for their undergraduate anymore. This was not an issue as we all had reasons for this!
As long as you expect the question to be asked and are ready to justify your choices...
I should add that, while you may have already considered this, it could be wise to use the STAR technique (situation, task, action, results) with a strong emphasis on the action and results as the first question is really asking you 3 questions in one (why did you have to drop everything in that...
Has anyone gone through the Mishcon video interview? A friend is going through her first VI and any insight into what the VI looks like would be greatly appreciated! :)
It is pretty much half and half for Hogan Lovells (source: their website). I’d definitely recommend giving it a try, you won’t be at a disadvantage if you do not do the vacation scheme there

The first three questions are purely competency based and, while I did not link them back to Hogan Lovells, I made sure to use the STAR technique — I hate STAR but I must admit it works and you cannot do without it. However, the last question which asks you what makes you stand out from the...
Good luck with that and feel free to message me if you have questions: I do not have Jaysen's wisdom or others' knowledge of the process but if you want my two cents, I'll be glad to share them.

I read the same thing about Jones Day already filling up all available places on the vac scheme earlier this week and asked the question to Graduate Recruitment at a Jones Day Question Time event: this is simply not true and although time is of the essence (I am aiming to send my application no...
