Does anyone know if GDL grads are considered law grads for the Hogan Lovells summer TC application window? Can’t find the answer anywhere on their website. I know freshfields considers GDL grads as law grads, and Slaughters doesn’t!- psr23

Has anyone not heard back from Akin Gump for their summer VS? I did the WG on 18 Jan, it's clearly a rejection now as they had already offered vac scheme places before I did the WG. They sent out a mass of rejection emails (in March if I remember correctly), and I just haven't heard. Got another...- psr23

For BCLP's direct TC, does anyone know the benefit of applying for their sector focused training contract over their normal training contract? Don't know which one to apply for - if I don't apply to a sector specific, would normal trainees still be able to complete seats in those areas?- psr23

I got my first role with no experience through Flex Legal, they count pro bono work as work experience so that helps with them. Once I got to six months paralegal experience, it started to get a lot easier to interviews for paralegal jobs (I haven’t done the LPC). I also think law firm offices...- psr23
