hey , has anyone heard back from Macfarlanes for the direct TC?

I attended an event with them and Grad Recruitment said they look at direct TC applications in July so anything until the deadline would be considered. Do you know if people who have already applied for direct TC been progressed?

heya thanks so much this is very helpful! no not at all! I'm at that stage when I'm thinking which app to do next and didn't want to apply if my chances were already low! that is great news though thanks . do you know if they recruit many off the direct route? because i know some firms only look at direct apps if they haven't filled up the VS etc

She said it was close to 50/50 so definitely do apply!

It’s perfectly fine from a grammar perspective but pretty old fashioned/not how you would write in a law firm.

“my” would be far more suitable in one’s opinion

I was rejected. I didn’t receive a rejection email, they just updated the portal so I have no idea when I was actually rejected!

I think I checked on Monday/Tuesday this week. I applied around the 20th November.

Just got a telephone interview for a direct TC application I made to White & Case last cycle!! If anyone has any advice (even a crumb) I would be so grateful
