Big believer in everything happens for a reason so I’m telling myself rejection is redirection!</p><p>⏳<strong>Taylor Wessing summer VS</strong>: submitted their application and just completed their online test. They said they won't come back to me until end of January at the latest so let's see where it goes. Hopefully I’m through 🙏 I just want something PLEASE</p><p></p><p><strong><u>Applications in the works:</u></strong></p><p>✅ <strong>Mishcon de Reya summer VS</strong>: they were my top firm last cycle but I’m now taking a high effort low hopes approach with applications, so I’m less bothered about them. Obviously I want a TC but I know rejections aren’t personal so. I got to the VI last year so hopefully we can do that again (and advance further into the process!) I’ve done a first round draft but I’m not happy with it currently, so I need to rework it (and get someone to review it for me 🙏)</p><p>✅ <strong>Farrer summer VS and TC</strong>: really like their application and their vibe from their virtual events and open days, but the amount they expect you to write is ridiculous. Still applying though.</p><p>✅ <strong>Forsters summer VS</strong>: this is due in 6 January but they’re rolling 💀</p><p>✅ <strong>Stephenson Harwood summer VS</strong>: 50-50 on applying but I’m 1/3s done with the first draft. Also 600 words per question is heavy</p><p>✅ <strong>Penningtons Manches Cooper summer VS: </strong>another firm I like a lot but haven’t researched into much.</p><p>✅ <strong>Charles Russell Speechlys summer VS</strong>: another firm I really like. I’d say they’re top 3 to 5 depending on when you ask</p><p>✅ <strong>Mills & Reeve summer VS</strong>: their application process is straightforward so I need to bite the bullet and submit it soon. It’s mostly just tests so need to practice for those.</p><p></p><p>Need to start Withers summer VS (another top choice!) and (maybe) Harbottle direct TC and/or Burges Salmon summer VS applications soon. </p><p></p><p>I have one more assignment for uni left this semester due Friday but after that, it’s full steam ahead for applications this winter break 😍😍😍 this is not going to be fun at all since most of these are due early January 💀🤩</p></blockquote><p></p>
