Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone has had a great holiday season. When not doing the usual holiday things like spending time with immediate and extended families, I've spent a lot of my holiday season doing VS/TC applications due to my own time mismanagement, oops ... Shoutout to my spreadsheet supertracker, which has allowed me to cut down on the amount of time I write unique answers in favour of quality (well that's the plan). Also I do feel like you get faster at writing applications as you do more and more of them if that makes sense? But anyways! A little status update of my applications. Apologies for how long this is, it's been an eventful week and a half (application-wise). Submitted Applications: ✅ Forsters Summer VS: I submitted it on New Year's Eve (oops). They're rolling and their deadline was on the 6th of January so I don't have high hopes for this. Let's see how it goes, but I do like them and they seem like good vibes. They also sent me an email yesterday saying that everyone who applied around then will hear back by the end of next week which is surprisingly quick for law? Hoping it's good things! ✅ Farrer & Co Summer VS and Direct TC: I went to a few events, and really liked their vibes, so I would love to see my application progress further! They only invite around 50 people to ACs so I'm not particularly hopeful. Having 8+ questions, a cover letter (each of which is 250-350 words each) and separate legal and non-legal work history sections is diabolical tbh.
