Hi everyone. When completing an activity history for a new employer's background check, do voluntary positions held at university societies come under the 'volunteer work' sections?

Hi everyone. When completing an activity history for a new employer's background check, do voluntary positions held at university societies come under the 'volunteer work' sections?

I would speak to the reference check company for clarity on this, but I would expect they could be included here (I am just not sure how a reference check company would verify voluntary roles like this).
