Hi @Jacob Miller ! Thank you for your very helpful Monday Article Series. I have an upcoming AC with NRF and I'm struggling to pick between two topics for the "Tell me about a commercial issue" question. I have a general interest in Tech and IP so I was thinking about speaking about this Google v Oracle ongoing dispute in the US about providing copyright protection for basic codes and how if this happened, it could potentially increase acquisitions in the Tech industry as bigger companies will seek to acquire smaller companies with these attractive codes. This could also lead to a conversation into big tech antitrust issues which I think is a conversation I can carry. But this is a US case where the Supreme Court has not given its judgment yet so I'm not sure if it's less relevant and speculative. I'm also not sure if this is too technical or too far from NRF's key practices. Instead, I was considering talking about the Marriott Hotel data breach from its acquired subsidiary as a result of poor due diligence. Pointing out how there is a potential due diligence blind spot in relation to cybersecurity, and firms should advise clients accordingly - cyber insurance, indemnities, warranties. I think this is closer to what NRF is big for, Corporate M&A and they also have a growing Data & Cyber Security practice. But it is a topic I am less familiar with than the one I mentioned before. I just wanted your advice considering you interviewed at NRF and secured a VS. Thank you so much!
