Do Law Firms Look at GCSEs?

Hi,

I was just applying for the BM open day and I have been asked for my GCSEs. I only have 8 and failed one, I had absolutely no idea this would be a requirement. Is BM an anomaly or will I have to declare my GCSE results for every firm? Right now I am distraught because they are my only bad grade and I feel like they may distinguish me from another candidate negatively. I have 3x A* at A level and a 69.5 AVG first year from a RG university.

TLDR: Do most/all law firms ask for GCSES/ take them into account?

Thank you
