Gap Year Legal Work Experience
Hi everyone,I’m taking a gap year before university and want to use it to get some proper legal work experience, ideally with a law firm.
I’m particularly interested in commercial/corporate law, but I’m open to pretty much anything that gives me a better idea of what working in law is actually like.
I was wondering if anyone has any advice on the best way to approach firms for work experience, especially smaller firms that might be more open to gap-year students. I’m happy to cold email firms, but would be interested to hear if anyone has had success doing this or has any other suggestions.
