How do you answer the scenario where you have sent an email to the wrong client?

Hi, if in an interview you are asked about a scenario whereby you send confidential information to the wrong client, are you meant to tell the original client you accidentally leaked their data?

Yes - you would need to disclose this, but the first step would be to ask the person you have sent it to, to delete it or get an understanding of what has been seen/reviewed and by whom.
