Hi [USER=17886]@kapao88[/USER], it is excellent that you have found yourself an adviser that you relate to - it is impossible to underestimate how helpful this support can be during the application process I think her advice on keeping your answers short is excellent, but as [USER=2672]@Jessica Booker[/USER] outlined in her fantastic answer above, brevity is not so important for its own sake as is the fact that you keep your answers relevant to the question and engaging for the interviewer.Personally, if you feel good about your answers which are 1.5 - 2 minutes then I would not give them a second thought! I had answers to some questions which were over 5 minutes, where I felt that everything was relevant and contributed to my story, and I was successful with these answers. This approach is not for everyone and I think that a good answer under a minute is always a safe bet, but I would not rein in your answer purely for the sake of an arbitrary time limit.I hope that helps
