I am slightly worried about missing lectures and seminars during the GDL and have, therefore, tried focusing on direct training contract applications - the only issue is that quite a few law firms prefer candidates to conduct a vacation scheme beforehand when applying for training contracts, hence I'm not quite sure what approach to take.
