Thank you for clarifying this, I can now see things from the perspective of the firm/grad rec more clearly.


I would feel pretty terrible if I was not offered a TC without having had the chance to prove myself on a vacation scheme, I guess that is my main point and it's something I think I should have made clearer above. Which is why I think Hogan Lovells approach has been exemplary and I am surprised other firms have not followed suit as I think it was the fairest way to deal with things given the circumstances.


I don't know, I just feel a certain way. I do not mean to sound ungrateful for the fantastic opportunity, I just wish it was dealt with in a more satisfactory way.


Our company is called, "The Corporate ___ Academy". What is the missing word here?
