Message: <blockquote data-quote="AMullin" data-source="post: 235810" data-attributes="member: 43063">Thank you both for the kind comments, I must have missed the notifications and just goes to show I should be checking in more here!Update:Nothing like a 4am alarm on going off to give me a little boost of motivation to get out of my current job!Since my previous update I have:❎ Progressed to the SJT for Kennedys DTC but received a PFO after the test.✅ Completed SHL test for Osborne Clarke, honestly the worst online test I’ve ever done, PFO incoming.✅ Completed test for Mishcon de Reya, unsure about the whole process for them to be honest, seems like a bit of a mess.✅ Completed the SJT and VI for Hill Dickinson, not sure if this is automatic or not but I’m taking it as a win and considering I haven’t been rejected as quickly as Reed Smith I’m hoping my VI will get looked at.✅ Completed VI for Norton Rose Fulbright, not sure how it went, felt like my answers were OK but I went way over on the recommended times so who knows.✅ Applied for Clyde & Co, completed online tests and waiting to hear back if I’ve made it to VI.✅ Applied to WFW and had an invite to VI which I plan to do on Wednesday.Stephenson Harwood application is pretty much ready to be sent today so that will be another one to cross off. Still eagerly anticipating a response from HFW post application 🤞.On a personal note, I have started down the route of getting an assessment for ADHD. I have been doing a lot of research into it since my daughter has it and everything is pointing towards me being the reason for that 🤦🏻‍♂️ as I have already learned some good ways to cope with this and I don’t think I require medication, this is more to get a formal diagnosis to help explain why my academics aren’t as good as they perhaps could have been.I’ve also made the decision to focus heavily on the maritime sector and I am starting to build daily habits to build up my knowledge in this area so that when it comes to next years application cycle I will be in a much better place when it comes to commercial awareness. I will also have a select handful of firms that I will apply to rather than my current shotgun approach 😂So that was a bit of a ramble but basically, I’m still in the game this year but treating it very much like a practice run and prepping myself to be a better candidate next year 💪</blockquote>
