I respect the fact that the figure varies very much on the type of law firm. The area of law which I am currently applying for is private client work where unfortunately state school representation is disproportionately very low. I just want to make it clear that I am not trying to discourage people from state school backgrounds, I've always felt like this forum has been a really positive place and I just wanted to share my experiences.</blockquote>
