    I don't know about the profile of all of them, but the people on these types of shows tend to be angel investors rather than venture capitalists (they tend to be high net worth individuals, investing their own money rather than that of a fund, at early stage rounds). You'll be looking for firms with some kind of startup focus, although the practice area may come under different names.
