I imagine it’s both because Paul said they assess applications and test scores together to decide who to invite to AC. I’m not too sure what their benchmarks are or what they look at to determine whether the applications and test scores are good enough. I don’t think my test scores were super high they were sort of in the middle. In terms of my application, my stats are not astronomically high so I am hoping it was my answers to the questions that they liked.


I think more emphasis would be placed on the written application. The application answers are the only thing that can be assessed objectively. Things like academics and work experience depend on your background in my opinion, so it’s more likely to be subjectively judged. Some people have access to certain things that others don’t. 🙂
