I've heard excellent things from future trainees who participated in these programmes and found them helpful in some of the ways that I mentioned above. </p><p></p><p>As someone who hadn't really been switched on to the activities of the student law society during my LLB, I found programmes like these particularly useful. And even if vacation schemes feel out of reach right now (totally normal in your first cycle!), there’s so much these opportunities can help you do over the summer to build your profile/experiences.
