I had no prior experience or knowledge of construction and feel like it didn’t impact things for me at all. I was just honest about having no prior experience of construction at my exit interview, but made it clear that I really enjoyed it. I also think that it’s really common to begin your TC thinking you’ll qualify in a certain practice area, and for that to then change quite quickly once you experience new sectors.
