I do have experience working with individuals that would be encountered by the firm. But it just feels as though those individuals with paralegal experience in the firm shall be hired as they know the firm and shall be trusted.I am waiting to hear back from one more firm also. I am in the final year of University. If I do not succeed then I will need to trade stocks full time (which is a skill I taught to use as a back up plan), stay in my University city as I cannot go home, and reapply next cycle.
