I don't think that's a problem, so long as you can articulate "why law" "why that firm", and show the work you have done to pursue this career (i.e. the regional firm work experience you've had). Also, regarding uni, I would say don't worry. I've seen plenty of RG uni students getting into top firms and plenty of Oxbridge students getting straight rejections. Best of luck
