That’s why we wanted to find a solution, a tool that would help you to better prepare for video interviews.
Our Video Interview Simulator uses the same software that many law firms use to filter candidates. We’ve designed it to replicate the real thing as much as we can, so you’ll be asked interview questions taken from real video interviews across a variety of law firms.
More than that, we’ll provide you with comprehensive question-by-question feedback on everything from the relevance of your answers to your body language. We’ll also send you a recording of your performance, so you can see how you did for yourself. New in the 2021-22 cycle, we’ll also provide you with a detailed 16-page guide to video interviews, so you can master this process.

How do I book a video interview? (Gold Members)
Free Video Interviews are available for TCLA Premium (Gold) members.
Please email [email protected] with the subject ‘Video Interview Simulator’. Within 5 minutes, you will be automatically emailed a link to your video interview. You must include the subject ‘Video Interview Simulator’ (without the quotation marks), or the link will not send.

Description
How does the Video Interview Simulator work?
You will receive an invitation to complete the video interview within 1 working day of booking your session. You can then complete your session at a time convenient to you. If you don’t have a webcam, please let us know and you will receive instructions on how to complete your session using a mobile device.
During the video interview, you will be asked six pre-recorded questions. Once you have completed your video interview, you will receive detailed feedback together with a recording of your performance within three working days. You will also receive a copy of our video interview cheat sheet to help you prepare for future video interviews.
In your session, you will be asked questions taken from real video interviews under timed conditions. So that you can make the most of your session, we encourage you to practice the simulator as you would for a real law firm video interview. This includes dressing professionally and preparing for general interview questions in advance of the interview.
After the interview, you will received comprehensive question-by-question feedback, plus a recording of your own performance. You will also receive a copy of our video interview cheat sheet and best practice tips to use for your future interviews.
