how old is the average equity partner?

Strange question, but I'm wondering if there's a general trend as to many years after PQE does one actually become an equity partner? Are most of them over 40?

Slightly creepy thing that you can totally do: look up the month/year of birth for every equity partner for law firms on Companies House. I found 40 was pretty common age for the partners at the firms I was interested in.
