Commuting on vacation scheme

Is it possible to commute everyday to a vacation scheme, for reference my journey would be around an hour (27 min train and 20 min tube ride). The scheme is only 2 weeks.

Very possible - have known many vacation scheme students to commute longer than that.

The only issue could be if the train strikes continue.

Thanks, hopefully they won't but if they do I'll have to stay in a hotel for the impacted days.

Probably cheaper/easier to get a cab to your nearest tube line/alternative train station depending on what direction/route you are coming in.
