Hi Guys,

I am currently researching about tech evolution in Africa. I have found the companies on which I want to focus on, however I cannot find recent articles explaining city law firms strategy in Africa.

Could you help me?

Thanks

Hi, I was wondering if I could jump in on this thread. I wanted to write about Womens Football and talk about the commercialism of the sport (or lack of) and how channels such as Sky and BT should show more of the Womens game in order to increase sponsorship/participation and ultimately grow the sport on the back of a successful word cup. I was then going to link it to DLA's growing Sports Law department but is this too niche? It says a recent business story you have been following but I didn't know if I needed to choose a more 'mainstream' story. Thank you in advance!

Probably a little too niche unless you can tie it to more of the legal aspects behind this story.

Sorry to jump in this - the question is 'Which business story has interested you in the last 12 months and why?

From what I gathered, it is talking about why the story has interested you and it is not really asking you to link it back to DLA Piper or its work etc? - Is this a correct way of looking at this?

Correct, that’s how I would approach. Bonus if you can link it to the firm but not always part of the question. Try not to over think the question (or interpret in line with a similar question from a similar app), and answer what’s infront of you.

I think that if you manage to find something that interest you and link it to the firm..then you nail it. Last week, I spoke with two grad recruiters from Baker and DLA and both of them told me that it is important to find the legal implications and link to the firm. I also believe that if you are able to talk about the firm than you show that you did your research

Yes
