but whenever i go to apply to firms that have ip services i search up their current trainees and see how they were a paralegal for some brand, or something ip related

EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY HAVE PREVIOUS EXP IN THE INDUSTRY!!

why is it the essays i spend so long on i get average but the ones i do in the shortest amount of time(and this is me going over lectures and doing reading for the first time because im so behind) i do very well in

Hey - I had a big wobble after my BJ TI - I’m a 24 year old “career changer” currently working outside of the law and BJ is my top firm, because I love the culture and practice areas but fundamentally because their. SQE study is integrated into the employment so is fully paid and I will only have to forego my income for the GDL which for them is only 20 weeks - it’s a perfect arrangement for me! I’m scared I’ll be applying for these things for YEARSSS even though I have a strong CV with commercial experience

yesss their tc structure is the main reason i applied!

we just have to keep trying you have a lot to bring as a career changer i remember going to open days for certain firms and they had such a big intake of career changes like taylor wessing for example

Hey, came across ur thread. I can relate to ur situation and empathise with u. I too haven’t secured an AC yet and it pains to know that we need to keep waiting for that one chance to come for us to show our capabilities. Wish u nothing but the best for ur outcome with Browne Jacobson and other apps. Keep us posted.

so i received a stephenson harwood invite for the online test

great news but the VI element at the end is scary because i didnt get past that VI stage for Bristows

if anyones done the SH test some tips would be great, a girls struggling out here

also BJ TI no news since, i keep replaying what i wished i said sigh
