Regarding your fieldfisher app, did you meet the firm in advance? I'm struggling to articulate the 1 experience that led me to apply to the firm...
hey i did meet the firm beforehand in my first year (im now a graduate) but really glossed over it
i spoke more about a legal experience i did that drove me to want to become a lawyer in the first place and then linked it to how the firm could support me

honestly need advice

im still waiting on hearing back from those firms :

withers- not looking good, ive done the app not heard anything back
mishcon- i feel like i had a strong app, just have to wait
CRS- again hit and miss im not sure
browne jacobson- i hope so

i did way less apps this year to prioritise quality but i need more options, does anyone know of any firms that have non-rolling deadlines?

ive learnt my mistake from applying to rolling cough cough bird and bird which i was so sad about because i really liked that firm and their open day

would people say that its worth a shot to apply to direct TC's instead now? or maybe even direct paralegal roles in those big firms?

update: applications aren't over yet!!

good thing is that all my applications passed to the next stage minus one as it was sent late, so i am doing something right i suppose?

completed another firms test and now i have more apps to complete

im thinking to just go for it and start the sqe around Sep or Jan and just work part time in my retail job to make ends meet it might be easier to land a paralegal job even with just the sqe 1 but im not sure

I'll still be making tc applications during that I just need some motion, any progress forward instead of staying in the same position with my retail job

This is a tough call
