shoosmiths sent out an email saying they won’t get back to us on 9th but on the 19th. They sent this email around end April - start march. You might have not received that email due to a glitch

I’m self employed so pretty flexible.

This one took me two days.

I think it’s a numbers game.

Anyone here know why I can't even get a high street legal secretary job?

Shouldn't that be the most entry level role of them all?

Sometimes for these roles they are looking for people who will be secretaries for the long term and they will see people who are obviously people just looking for a legal role before progressing to become a trainee as not the right fit for what they need.

Most secretaries do not become lawyers.

Very true but what role am I meant to start at then is what I am wondering.

Paralegal jobs tend to ask for 2yrs + where I am and while TCs were the logical answer, many many others have the same idea.

There will be paralegal roles that do not require 2 years experience. Try temp or fixed term contract roles rather than permanent roles too.

Also try legal assistant roles.
