Missing full stop in an application? Am I doomed to get rejected? This cycle has been totally exhausting. 40 apps submitted since August 1st. I am giving up this year. Just don’t have any motivation left.

I did it a few years ago, if the online one is still written, the main difference is the partner one is discussed in the interview. You have some time to make notes (I think it was around 15mins), but you’re assessed by discussing/answering questions

They have done this in previous years. I am sure my friend had the same previously and they never got invited to an interview.

So Burges Salmon's work experience section says "In order to be considered for a training contract through our direct process we would like to see that you have completed relevant legal work experience....We classify work experience as paralegal or legal assistant work at a commercial law firm, partaking in a vacation scheme at Burges Salmon or another law firm or informal work experience at another law firm."

Technically I dont have experience at a firm, but I do have experience as an Ombudsman - would that count? And are they quite strict with it? thanks!

I did their AC too and to my understanding was that we should hear back by call

For Reed Smith, are we allowed to take a break between the SJT and the VI part? Or do both parts have to be in one seating?
