Hi @Mara,Oop two rejections in already and I feel locked out of the legal profession yet again ):
Nah I did the test yesterday and yolo'd the fact that it wouldnt be in there this year and I was right. This is for their vacation scheme tho so idk about other opportunitiesDoes the latham test have a video question?
To be fair, I think it's a matter of preference. I applied to Lift Off because I was very new to the whole TC process and wanted to know what commercial awareness actually is and how do you go about it and getting on the programme does get you a final stage interview for a VS/TC so you probably have more to talk about during your interview. Is there any advantages of applying to HL lift off over the straight winter vacation scheme? I can't decide which to apply for
Hey guys does anyone know where I can find Orrick's application from last year?
This was in the email saying they received my application: 'We will contact you again on Friday 12 September 2025 before 5.30 pm.' Oddly quite specific for a law firm so idk how trustworthy it is hahaThe test will come either tonight or monday
I applied for it a couple of days ago and in the confirmation email it said 'Recruitment for all our opportunities is conducted on a rolling basis, so your patience during peak seasons is greatly appreciated. We will be in touch in due course to confirm the outcome of your application.'does anyone know whether BCLP's open day is rolling or not?
Thank you! I just applied now, though the applications opened last month, so I probably not gonna get selected for their open day :/I applied for it a couple of days ago and in the confirmation email it said 'Recruitment for all our opportunities is conducted on a rolling basis, so your patience during peak seasons is greatly appreciated. I just checked, and they said:have the Clifford Chance insight day applications opened?
no this is why im confuses ahah, like ive been checking and it hasn't been available to actually apply for and now it says expired so not sure if its a mistakeI just checked, and they said:
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles
i didn't even know when did they opened because the last time i checked it still said: "registration open at september"![]()

No problem! And don’t think like that, if your application is good, it will be selected for sure, and I don’t think BCLP is ‘hard’ rolling in that senseThank you! I just applied now, though the applications opened last month, so I probably not gonna get selected for their open day :/
