I completed mine on Thursday 31/10 (so probably not helpful info haha), but I haven't heard back either. Just out of curiosity, when did you get your vi invite? I thought most people got theirs on Monday so I was wondering if there was another batch of invites as I've got two friends who applied closer to the deadline and are still waiting to hear back :')

Hi!

That’s a great question - if the firm has the same grade requirements for the open day as the vacation scheme, I would take that as a sign that your grades are perfectly fine!

However, if they don’t list any grade requirements for the open day, I’d double check with the graduate recruitment team on what their grade policy is for the vacation scheme, as they may not have had any requirements for the open day

Hi Abbie, they did have me provide a year and modular breakdown for the open day so i assume it would be fine? I’m just unnecessarily worried due to how much more challenging getting a vac scheme with the firm is haha

Hi, can anyone provide insights on what the Latham test is like this year? What are the two stages and how many VI questions are there? Is it similar to last year's? Thanks.

Stage 1: normal SJT. You get to do it immediately after your application.

Stage 2: if you meet the benchmark for the SJT, you'll be passed on to the second stage, which is also a test and VI. This is for behaviour and critical thinking (similar to WGT but bespoke to Latham). This part is untimed. The video interview happens in a different way. Unlike the usual ones where they just as a question, here you'll be reading a case situation, it's relevant content and a crisis associated with that situation. It is followed by two questions testing your competency to handle the situation. 2 videos. Each can be 3 minutes long (maximum) and they give you one minute to prepare. Each question has 3 components (thus really long to read). That was the toughest part for me. One minute runs out by the time you read and process the question, thus barely any time to prepare.

As I did not make it to the second stage last year I'm unaware if it was the same.
