on another note, Winston Taylor is giving WW2 vibes x
this person does have about a million connections tbfI felt we probably looked on the same page lol
But you have a VS which means you are doing something right.YESSS omg, I often wonder if there's just something wrong with melike they make it sound so easy and I'm sitting there like, woah maybe it really isn't that bad, and then I get thrust back into reality and realise that something isn't adding up here

Maybe Taylor Winston still abbreviates as "TW", Winston must battle for this name for Winston stayed at the front.on another note, Winston Taylor is giving WW2 vibes x
yeah theres a whole variety. i think the reasons trainees seem so unaware of what it is firms want is because they were literally just themselves. ofc they are intelligent, dedicated and show a lot of interest in commercial matters and are able to apply that knowledge but apart from that, they are unique. as far as what firms people end up at and who accepts and rejects them, a lot of it I think is the firm assessing whether this person would "fit" at their firm.100%. Apart from seeing people from very similar backgrounds, I saw some international students with non-UK unis. Gives me lots of hope
Well done!!! Did you get the invite today?DLA Piper TI invite, if anyone has any inisghts I would be very grateful!
Have you completed the WVS yet? Sorry I’m a bit slow if you already wrote that you haveTruly think the one offer I have is somewhat a fluke or A LOT of luck since it doesn't seem to be working for any other firm I've applied tobut genuinely super grateful to the firm for taking a chance on me
will not let them down
i did it in november. they are holding another round of ACs in jan so dont lose hopeCongrats! When did you do their AC? I am still waiting to hear from them..
I thought it was a rolling basis only for Stages 1 & 2 Assessments. Then after the deadline they sort and send out AC invites? I'm not sure tho.same situation think bc it’s rolling we’re fucked
Aaaaah sorry, at least you have plenty of time to prep really wellit's the summer one for me, so unfortunately won't know if I will be offered a TC this year until after the summer (hence why I'm still fervently applying)
Can’t be because there were people getting ACs way before the deadlineI thought it was a rolling basis only for Stages 1 & 2 Assessments. Then after the deadline they sort and send out AC invites? I'm not sure tho.
are you a third year student if you dont mind me asking?it's the summer one for me, so unfortunately won't know if I will be offered a TC this year until after the summer (hence why I'm still fervently applying)
I hope I get an invite. Do you have any advice for their AC - was it more challenging than you expected?i did it in november. they are holding another round of ACs in jan so dont lose hope
best tip would be to calm nerves down as much as possible. talk to people as you normally would, it helped me relax and I found i was able to connect with everyone at the firm a lot better this way. your assessors are just people, dont be afraid to ask them questions to show curiosity and get to know them a bit, you never know, you might have a mutual interest which you can then talk about (dont force this though or u might seem unprofessional)I hope I get an invite. Do you have any advice for their AC - was it more challenging than you expected?
Really? I spoke to one of the EC team and she said they haven't sorted ACs out yet - this was around a month ago. They probs did a couple already. I hope we hear the good news soon. Can’t be because there were people getting ACs way before the deadline
