Hey!Has anyone heard from Reed Smith since the last batch they sent out on Tuesday? I'm still trying to take no news as good news lol.
For reference, I did my VI on 25th Nov. If anyone did their VI after me and has gotten a response please react to this message.
I did my VI last Thursday and got the PFO on Tuesday, I’m guessing because I did so badly on the SJT it was an automatic fail.

The HR team are lazy to tailor the CRM response, poor ERP systems. Very unprofessional lol

Yea but tbf I expected it I was honestly expecting a rejection as I got rejected post TI last year and thought they’d like to interview new people and my legal experience hasn’t increased significantly from last year. So it’s nice to not be outright rejected

That would make me so mad, like don’t give me hopes just reject me. They did say they have gotten a “record number of applications and acs are on a rolling basis” I am assuming it is a tactic rejection but I also feel some people will be very lucky to get an invite even after being waitlisted.
Agree, it's likely if they sent a dedicated email that's indicated a negative in my view, rather than silent and randomly PFO candidate like Weil or Mac which might be a slightly positive outcome. That makes me think if I should have applied for a vac scheme as they would like to hire from there but usually they are hiring equally from both. My friend who also applied closer to the deadline had the same email so I also think it’s due to that coz they filled ac slots on a “rolling basis” already ://
Their grad rec page says they are non rolling tho and would get back to everyone in dec
