Simranjeet Kaur Mann has a walkthrough video where she completes a WG (click here). Explaining the rules and has a nice document in the video description.

I’ve then just amended the document she made over the years, as I do practice, so the rules are tailored to my understanding.

For example, I now approach assumptions as an argument between me and someone else:

“Lol where did you get that from? I’m not even saying that” = Assumption not made

“Well… that’s what I’m saying” = Assumption made

WG will make more sense once you learn the rules and tailor it to you.

Does anybody know if Ashurst sends all the Written Exercise invites at once, I know a couple got sent yesterday. Is this a PFO

In case anybody is wondering, it seems like for the WVS some people heard back around the 4/3rd and others heard back after the weekend 7th/8th so it's possible it's in batches.

I'm not too sure, I applied in December. Would have been around the 10th I think. They got back to me about 3 weeks later regarding the WG and it's only been about a week since I completed it. I applied to Gibson Dunn at a similar time and have had no response yet. I think GD is more rolling with spaces actually filling. The AC is the end of this month if that helps

Hi guys,
Got my AC ever on the 29th!! It's at Freshfields which unfortunately is a firm where i havent had an open day at. To be honest I am so nervous and am unsure with everything. Ik my commercial awareness is good and I can usually interview well but am so nervous nonetheless. If anyone has any advice its really welcome!!
