Hello everyone

I am one of the recruiters from Osborne Clarke. For those applying to OC, I appreciate there may be some confusion around the deadline for completing the psychometric tests, so I wanted to clarify the timings.

You have 5 days to complete the tests from the date and time they are issued to you.

The final tests will be issued by our deadline which is today (15th) at 23:59 and if you receive your test at or before that time, you will then have 5 days from that point to complete it.

Yeah 11:59 for me!

I did this last night with Lewis Silkin. I would blame the ludicrously slow and poorly coded/implemented Vantage, but I only have myself to blame.

I didn't want to repeat it for CRS so submitted at 4:30am lol

It's not poorly coded, but they don't use high quality cloud server like Allhires, TCLA, Legal Cheek, etc which rely on Cloudflare, Azure, and AWS. That's why it takes age to upload

Managed to get Lewis Silkin in at 11pm, but only because I had the Clyde & Co VI to do by midnight, which I literally finished at 11:59pm. Pretty much all of my apps have been within minutes of the deadline, I think I have a problem 😂

Low-key is anyone tempted to email FF grad rec to ask when we should expect to hear back from them. Or have the ACs secretly all been handed out and people are being quiet about it.

I have other beefs with it why I think it's poorly coded:

1. it autofills my work experience, but this doesn't seem to be updatable via my profile, so I have to manually update it every time
2. there are a bunch of mandatory fields for the education section that you can't enter in the profile so the "autofill" thing doesn't work that well
3. there's no way to say you've done SQE by self-study, you literally have to choose a uni from their list otherwise it won't let you progress

And the date for work experience only goes back to 2011, which means you have to select incorrect dates (which impacts the order) and explain in the box - not so inclusive for experienced career changers!

Too bad I won’t find out if it was my VI or that 3 on my Amberjack that was the issue
