I don’t think they do, I applied on the deadline last year, heard back around 3 weeks afterare you aware if they recruit on a rolling basis?
Hi i also applied to Leeds office on 30th Oct and never even heard after the Critical thinking test, did you hear back after the test for a voice interview?Hi did anyone heard back from Addleshaw Goddard (Leeds office) for a AC post voice interview or knows of anyone who has?? Please help
TW reject via phone call…I'm not sure about PFO via email but I have only ever received offers via phone; I actually was panicking once because a firm had called me and i'd missed it, I asked my parents whether they thought that they'd call to reject; they said "not unless they are exceptionally polite". It was an offer! So i'd generally take a phone call as a good sign!! From the AC's I've attended, I do believe all of them said they do provide feedback calls if there is a PFO to explain why-so maybe that is the call element! I hope this helps and best of luck![]()
That seems like such a weird thing to do? Why not just email and then offer a feedback call later on? I get that it’s to show respect probably but that seems like a way to accidentally get people’s hopes up…TW reject via phone call…
Absolutely. Luckily I missed the call so got an email saying they had tried to call and that unfortunately I hadn’t got the VS. And then they offered a call to get feedback. I suppose it was crap news however they communicated it but a phone call would definitely have made me think I’d got it and would have been embarrassing and sad when they then said PFO!That seems like such a weird thing to do? They do have a really high offer rate - 28 of us on the AC and 15 places on Spring VS so maybe that’s part of the reason.Absolutely. I know Linklaters and Clifford Chance call regardless of outcome!Does anyone know whether firms give VS offers (post AC) by phone and PFOs post AC by email? Or if both are usually by phone
I applied to a few firms on this list, and the Debevoise application stood out for asking an unusually large number of first-stage questions. It look me a long time to draft the answers, and knowing what you're getting into is helpful here. These may not be verbatim (2025):Hello, please may someone help me with this - I did't apply to many firms this year and so don't know the application questions for many firms. Please can you let me know the application questions for the following firms:
Debevoise
