Celebrating my first completed AC of 2026

Womble Bond Dickinson DTC London office.
The day ran from 9.45am to 1.15pm. It included a critical thinking task (10mins to prepare to defend or challenge a short statement), a trainee Q&A panel, and 2x20min skills based interviews with members of the career team and a variety of lawyers. The schedule was quite full, and I didn't have much time to communicate all the case studies and market research I had prepared leading up to the AC. I was particularly confident for this one, because I had a call with one of the firm's clients (a Director of HR at a university) a few days ago in order to gather background info. During the AC, they kept everyone very much on-task, so an opportunity to demonstrate my networking and research with WBD's clients didn't come up. But never mind!
Overall, I'm very happy with my performance during the AC. But we can never be sure of the outcomes, of course. They expect to communicate decisions in mid-April. If I progress to the next stage, that will be great. But I realise that receiving an offer after only 2 ACs would be exceptional. Either way, this kind of thing is a great learning opportunity, of course.
Best of luck, whatever stage you're at this week!
