How long do firms doing winter vac schemes usually take to decide outcomes of TC offers from the vac scheme? Do they wait till they've completed all their vac schemes (winter, spring, summer)?

How long do firms doing winter vac schemes usually take to decide outcomes of TC offers from the vac scheme? Do they wait till they've completed all their vac schemes (winter, spring, summer)?

Typically they will offer shortly after the scheme. Due to Christmas/New Year this may not be until some point in January.

It would be very rare for an employer to run a scheme in the winter but wait until the summer to make offers, just because it’s highly likely they will lose the talent in that time.

I will just add that I did a vac scheme at a firm which strangely did do this, but @Jessica Booker is right that it is the norm to make offers immediately following the scheme
