Just putting some numbers together based on Legal Cheek, looks like it's around 12 TCs at Paul Hastings, 15 at Macfarlanes, 12 at Stephenson Harwood, 10 at White & Case, and 4 at BCLP. Agreed, apply for the DTC!

However, I remember that grad rec suggested putting your preferred practice area at the top of the list to increase your chances of getting it in your first seat.
They also mentioned that a one-page cover letter is enough (1000 words)...
Unfortunately there is not such a ranking. You need to combine the information.

Legal 500 and Chambers are mostly based on client and peer feedback. Firms submit forms with 20–40 key publishable and non-publishable matters (deals, litigation, investigations, etc.)...
According to Baker’s email, this is the timeline:
-April 2025 - Successful candidates sent invite to undertake online tests and a video interview.
-May 2025 - Successful candidates will attend an assessment centre.
-May - June 2025 - Successful candidates will be offered a Training Contract to...
Just guessing, since I haven’t passed a single cappfinity test yet either, but I think each firm tailors the test based on their own core values.
One firm might prioritise adaptability, drive, and teamwork, while another might focus more on ownership, attention to detail, and commercial...

Do trainees rotate across all Finance subgroups, or can they choose a specific seat like funds or finreg? And if they can, what kind of work do they usually...
