Hi , it means Training Contract - which is a two year rigorous training that budding solicitors undertake with law firms, before qualifying. Instead of a TC it is also possible to undertake equivalent 2 year QWE (qualifying work experience) as a paralegal , law clinic etc.

Any advise on how to proceed with Linklaters ? I applied for their Open Day (and took CAPP + WG) avoiding VS (Spring/Summer)application under the assumption that you are fasttracked to AC if successful in OD. Haven't heard back from them on the outcome of OD application. Should I just go ahead...

I just received my first year law (3 year course) marks. They are 70, 62, 61.5 and 57.33. The average is 62.7. Have I achieved 2:1 as per definition of law firm applications? Or does one need above 60 in each module ?
