Just a follow-up question from this - If you are going to meet a legal professional (lets say a junior Associate, or Trainee) for a coffee, would it still be advisable to go in a suit or can you wear smart casual clothes? Thanks- Lat94

CV/Cover Letter Firms
Kirkland & Ellis do use an online application as well as a cover letter. The online application consists of 3 questions (greatest achievement, commercial awareness and why the firm) and then you also have to submit a cover letter and CV with your application!- Lat94

Thank you so much @AJ for this incredibly useful information! I think I will go for your approach and apply to mostly vac schemes up until january and then do direct training contract applications. I think most firms generally use the vacation scheme now so I think that is the better option...- Lat94
