Congratulations to those invited to an AC with Clifford Chance. I note the addition of a new 'group exercise' on the day. Does anyone have any insight into what this exercise might entail?
Hi Rachel, Yeah, same here as well! Seems like it's because the VI stage is a recent addition to the process. Hoping it's a competency-based question since those are fairly standard, but if not, then that 1 minute worth of preparation we get before the recording starts will be incredibly important.
Congratulations to you, my friend! Any thoughts on what the third question might be? Do you reckon it's a motivational (i.e. about the firm) or a competency-based question (i.e. tell us about a time...)?
Congratulations! Any thoughts on what the third question might be? Have you found any resources that could help us possibly prepare for it (as in is it a competency or motivational third question)?
Honestly, I’m no authority on this. The odds are, people did go through to the next stage with just good or excelled in one element. But it seems like their application (work experience, value compatibility, and video interview) were excellent. So just keep your fingers crossed and have faith in...
I tried to scour the forum yesterday to find anyone who reached the next stage of the process with a “good” in verbal and numerical reasoning and couldn’t find any. That’s what I got, and I’m trying to be positive by simply forgetting I ever applied 😅
Hi everyone. For the A&O SJT + VI, do we have the opportunity to view the two questions and prepare for them without a time limit? I know that it'll be a maximum of two minutes for each answer, but can I prepare for these questions without having to worry about the time?
Thanks :)
As a person who applied for a Direct TC and yet to hear back as to whether I was rejected or invited to an AC, I'm not sure how to feel about that  🤣
Now the age-old question of whether still being put on "hold" is a good thing to rejoice about, or a bad thing to ponder on 🤣
Same dude! While I am in no rush to hear back, I keep waking up to emails from my faculty and I'm always slightly disappointed 🤣
Hey guys,
Did anyone hear back from the Norton Rose Fulbright Trainee Recruitment team? I am yet to hear a response ever since the application confirmation email.
In regards to the newest format of interviewing and assessing a candidate within the AC, has there been any source of guidance or any person with experience who can help us prepare? @Jaysen (cheeky tag but seriously do not know who else to tag :D).
Usually, you need to email Graduate/Trainee Recruitment, but I think with Clifford Chance, it is automatically attached to the email that informs you whether you have passed the WG or not.
