    I experienced this twice - I had one partner interview which was competency based and the partner rather than letting me complete the STAR structure of my answer broke it up with follow up questions just asking what they needed to know. I also had an interview which was really time pressured...

    My interview wasn't with Travers - hopefully someone who has previously interviewed there can give you steer, is there anything in the interview experiences section on Travers? I wouldn't just assume that technical only means SJT - as different firms have different terms for question types.
