The mental toll of applying for TC's, especially as a graduate student in their mid 20's is not spoken enough for my liking.

I consider myself thick-skinned, but as Katy Perry once said I feel like a plastic bag drifting through the wind.
Applying for jobs in the legal sector is the most violently humbling experience I have ever had, and this is my 3rd cycle 🥹

Also applying as a career changer. Hogan Lovells rejection email was amusing. Wishing me luck with my studies. I finished my degree in 2019... I know most applicants are students. Still, it doesn't feel very inclusive.

Not as bad as the Clyde rejection I got:

Regrettably, based on the information provided, we have noticed you do not meet the eligibility requirements for this role. Please review the job description to understand the requirements.

We understand this might not be the news you were hoping for, but please know that we truly appreciate the dedication and time you've committed to your application.

While this path might not be right for right now, please take a glance at our eligibility requirements in our FAQs and consider applying again in 12 months' time.

Those eligibility requirements? You must be an undergraduate, graduates can get lost.

Try again in 12 months' time? Hah.
